Victoria Beckham looks chic in a monochrome ensemble as she bids farewell to son Brooklyn at JFK airport after sweet reunion in New York

They have been packing in the quality time together during her short visit to New York for work this week.

So it's no wonder Brooklyn Beckham accompanied his mum Victoria to JFK airport on Friday to bid her farewell as she returned to London. 

The fashion designer, 43, looked typically chic in a poloneck and pastel green boots as she arrived at the terminal with her 19-year-old son - who is currently studying in the Big Apple.

Sticking to a chic monochrome look, the mum-of-four completed her look with skintight black jeans and a patent clutch.

Styling her dark hair in a sleek chignon, she shielded her eyes behind her favorite pair of oversized square-frame shades

Brooklyn, meanwhile, displayed his typically quirky sense of style in a yellow beanie, vintage denim jacket and Converse trainers.

No doubt reluctant to leave her son back in New York, Victoria stayed close to the teenager as she arrived at the airport.

Their goodbye comes after Brooklyn, who left home in August, took Victoria out for dinner on Thursday night.

Victoria shared a cosy picture of the duo on Instagram, writing: 'So happy to be in NYC x Kisses x' 

With a wine glass in hand, it was another break from the books for teenage Brooklyn but he proved that he'd spent the day in the library when he skimmed past walls of study books in the library. 

Famous parents David and Victoria have barely being away from the university student a few weeks at a time.

When she learned he was going off to New York, Victoria wrote on Instagram: 'We are all so proud of you Brooklyn. 

'Amazing A level results and off to college. We love you so much and will miss you.'

Brooklyn is only back in NYC after a brief trip to Ireland with his American actress girlfriend Chloe Moretz.

Sharing a video of Chloe, she could be seen blending in with her fellow shoppers as she shopped for essentials in the penny-saving store.
