Cersei Lannister.-Lena Headey defends use of body double in ‘Game of Thrones’ nude scene

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the "Game of Thrones" star slammed those who "felt she was less of an actress" because she didn't get "her t--s out" on last season's infamous "Walk of Shame" scene.
"I’ve done nudity. I’m not adverse to it," she said in the interview. "I film every year and I have kids and they know me now and [being naked in the scene] was just too much on top of that."

Headey plays Cersei Lannister, aka The Queen Mother, in HBO's "Game of Thrones."

the Season 5 finale, her character Cersei Lannister, aka The Queen Mother, was ordered by the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) to walk naked through all of King's Landing while being berated by an angry mob who screamed obscenities and threw garbage, raw sewage and other nasty things at her.
Heady chose to use a body double (actress Rebecca Van Cleave) in the emotionally-charged scene in order to show Cersei's vulnerabilities.
Sansa Stark, played by Sophie Turner, looks battered a bruised in Winterfell.
Cersei Lannister, played by Lena Headey is consoled by her brother Jaime Lannister, played by actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in this season 6 scene.
Emilia Clarke's character Daenerys Targaryen is also still alive but no signs of her dragons.
It looks like Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) are also still alive and kicking in Winterfell.

"The thought of being naked for three days and trying to contain her in the way she would be I think I would feel very angry. I didn’t want to be angry. I don’t think Cersei would be angry. I did what I thought she would do, emotionally."
Cleave and the 42-year-old both shot the scene on set in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Heady sported a tan cover up and then the show's graphic designers later imposed her head onto Van Cleave's body.
"It was one of the scariest, most wonderful, most gratifying experiences I could have imagined," Van Cleave told EW last June. "I never in a million years would have thought I would be in Dubrovnik surrounded by hundreds of extras and crew members throwing food at me, but it was amazing."
