The stunning nine-bedroom house which will be home to Michelle, Barack, Sasha and Malia was built in 1928 and is a mere two miles away from the White House.
It’s not typical for a former president to stay on in Washington DC, but Barack and Michelle have decided to stay close by so that their youngest daughter, Sasha, can finish high school.

Speaking on the Jimmy Kimmel show, Obama said: “Our attitude is that, if you have a teenager, and you really want to make sure they never talk to you again, then pull them out of high school, right in the middle of sophomore year.”
