Billy Bob Thornton: I didn't feel good enough for Angelina Jolie

Billy Bob Thornton has opened up about his marriage to Angelina Jolie – saying he didn’t feel good enough for the actress.

The Bad Santa 2 actor was married to the Hollywood star from 2000 to 2003, when they famously carried around each other’s blood in lockets.

He told the US edition of GQ: “I never felt good enough for her.”

 

Billy Bob said that while Angelina was going off to meet with the UN, the US president or adoption agencies, he just wanted to stay at home and watch baseball.

And he said that problems arose when they were invited to mingle with A-listers because “I’m real uncomfortable around rich and important people”.

And he added: “I like how I am.”

But the star said that they were still close and he still has Angelina’s name tattooed on his leg.

His comments come amid Angelina and Brad Pitt’s divorce battle.

 

An investigation into whether Brad was abusive towards his son on a private flight has been closed with no finding of wrongdoing by the actor.
