BELLA Hadid revealed slightly more than she bargained for as she hit the red carpet at the Cannes film festival Wednesday in a slinky red gown that left little to the imagination.
The 19-year-old model attended a screening of Belgian drama La fille inconnue (The Unknown Girl), where she certainly made herself known in a backless Alexandre Vauthier halter dress with a plunging red neckline and a slit all the way up to her hipbone.
As she lifted the gown to climb the steps, she pulled the material a little too far – revealing a barely-there matching thong underneath.
However showing off her skin doesn’t seem to be a problem for Bella, who posed confidently in the risque dress, which she paired with strappy black Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos, a diamond bracelet and matching teardrop earrings.
And the teen, who’s the younger sister of model Gigi Hadid, has posed nearly nude in the past, sharing a risque behind-the-scenes snap from a photo shoot which showed her wearing nothing but a g-string and a black collar.
She also shed her clothes for a saucy photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar Spain, giving sister Gigi a run for her money.
Bella turned to modelling after she was forced to give up a career in horse-riding following her diagnosis with Lyme disease in 2012.
Mum Yolanda Foster, a former model and a star on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, told The Dr. Oz Show how her younger daughter had hoped to compete in the Olympics.
She said: “She’s been on a horse every day of her life since she was two years old. She jumped 4ft5in courses and you need to have a very sharp brain in order to do the calculations. And she started making mistakes.”
Bella recently told Elle magazine how her mum advised her to “think about something happy” when she was modelling, “because it kind of shows through your face”.
She added: “I used to think about my horses, but now I think about other things.”
