The movie tells the story of a lighthouse keeper and his wife living off the coast of Western Australia raise a baby they rescue from an adrift rowboat.
The romantic period drama, which was written and directed by Derek Cianfrance, also stars Rachel Weisz and Jack Thompson and is slated for release on November 1.
The movie was originally shown at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival last month.

Director Derek didn't play as coy when it came to Vikander and Fassbbender's relationship as he said: 'It wasn’t hard for me to see that the chemistry could be there, just knowing them as individuals.
'What I saw was two great people who were so supportive of each other, who were really picking each other up, and pushing each other.'
