The Welshman's stellar career has only gone one way since he joined Madrid, his move to Spain alongside his young family catapulting him into one of the world's best players.

While Bale is one of the biggest names in football, his soon-to-be wife shuns the limelight.
But the Real Madrid star makes regular gestures to the mother of his two children, often marking a goal for either club or country with his heart goal celebration, which he trademarked in 2013.
The couple's first child, Alba Violet, was born in Cardiff in October 2012. They had another daughter, Nava Valentine, in March this year.
Tee-total, Bale is a man who prioritises his family life and is rarely seen out partying, preferring to indulge in his love of golf away from football.
Now, as he looks to continue the form that made him the world's most expensive footballer and win more trophies with Madrid next season, Bale also has a wedding to plan for.
He really is a man at the top of his game at the moment.
